Blackburn-based Euro Garages, the fast-growing forecourt operator, scooped two accolades at the Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards in London – the industry's most prestigious awards ceremony.
Its Blackford Bridge site in Bury – the location for the UK's first ever forecourt format from Greggs – was presented with the award for the best food-to-go outlet and the best neighbourhood site.
The Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards recognise and reward businesses at the forefront of their profession and serves as a measure of the high operating standards and entrepreneurial skills demonstrated by retailers nationwide.
Operations manager Salim Hassan, who collected the award, said: "We are extremely proud to have our commitment to customer service recognised by the industry. It is a fantastic achievement for everyone who is part of Euro Garages and I accept these awards on their behalf."
The event, which was hosted by guest presenter Mark Durden-Smith, was attended by almost 700 guests from the petrol retailing industry.
