Euro Garages scoops Retailer of the Year Award

Euro Garages has been presented with the Retailer of the Year Award at the prestigious Lancashire Telegraph Business Awards at Ewood Park.

As the UK's fastest growing forecourt operator, Darwen-based Euro Garages impressed judges with its strong retail partnerships, ambitious expansion plans and remarkable growth.

The awards, which were presented by BBC TV weather personality Dianne Oxberry, celebrated East Lancashire businesses helping to pull the region out of recession.

Addressing the 27 shortlisted companies, Lancashire Telegraph editor Kevin Young, said: "We have had some great stories despite the worst recession we have had for a long time. It is amazing the way companies are fighting back."
