Euro Garages crowned king of the forecourts at industry awards

Euro Garages, one of the UK’s largest independent forecourt retailers, has triumphed at the industry’s annual Forecourt Trader Awards.

The newly-renovated Beehive forecourt in Blackburn was honoured with the Forecourt Trader of the Year award at the industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony.

Beehive is the site of the company’s headquarters and boasts a drive-thru Starbucks as well as a Subway, flower shop and Spar convenience store.

The company’s Deeside site, which in March 2010 became the location for the UK’s first ever drive-thru Starbucks, was also named as the Best Forecourt in West Country & Wales.

Salim Hassan, operations manger of Euro Garages who collected the awards said: “These awards are a huge achievement for us and demonstrate how far we’ve come since 2001. They are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our employees.”
