Warrington Road redevelopment

As part of our ongoing investment programme, we completed a full redevelopment of our Warrington Road site in Wigan.

The three-month project which completed in February 2009 included:

• Re-planned site
• Construction of a new canopy
• Increased number of pumps
• Ancillary services (ATM, National Lottery, Pay Zone, two new jet washes, Air Vac)
• 20 new parking spaces
• Over 3000 square foot of SPAR branded retail space
• Installed a gourmet self-service Coffee Nation machine.

As a result year on year fuel sales increased by 50% and retail sales by 30%.
